OPENING OF THE GILWELL PARK IN SRI LANKA
The land for "Gilwell Park" was facilitated by Dr. W. Champika Roshan Lowe who is the President of All Ceylon Human Rights Federation, on 16th of February 2019. Headquarters commissioner and the Head of Air Scout section, Mr. H. L. M. P. Namunukula graced the occasion as chief-guest. An enrolment of new scouts took place and a Progressive Badge awarding ceremony, from Scout Master's Award to Bushman's Thong, were presented to scouts who fulfilled the criterion. A Campfire was also held in the evening.
